Biography
Zachary M. Most, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in pediatric infectious disease.
Dr. Most earned his medical degree at the University of Miami and completed a residency in pediatrics at UT Southwestern and Children's Health Dallas. He received advanced training in pediatric infectious disease through a fellowship at UT Southwestern.
Certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious disease by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Most joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
Dr. Most is the Associate Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Children’s Health Dallas and serves on the COVID-19 Modeling Group and the Optum Database Research Group at UT Southwestern. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
Dr. Most has authored research articles, case reports, and reviews and delivered numerous invited lectures. His clinical interests include transmission dynamics of respiratory viral infections in health care settings and respiratory virus surveillance in the community and health care settings.
