Biography

Zohra Prasla, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern and a member of its Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She serves as Director of Pulmonary Ambulatory Care.

Dr. Prasla holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her medical degree from UT Southwestern, where she also completed internal medicine residency training. She then obtained advanced training through a fellowship in pulmonay and critical care at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024, Dr. Prasla was an attending physician at UCLA Health and a clinical instructor at David Geffen School of Medicine.

Dr. Prasla is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.
