Biography

Zurisadai Gonzalez-Castillo, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Gonzalez-Castillo earned her medical degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán in Mexico. She completed two residencies, in pediatrics and child neurology, at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County in California, serving as Chief Resident. She received advanced training through a pediatric neuromuscular medicine fellowship at UT Southwestern.

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child neurology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Gonzalez-Castillo is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the Child Neurology Society.
