Nonsurgical Treatment (Xiaflex Injection) for Dupuytren's Contracture
Before (left): This right-handed patient was experiencing Dupuytren’s contracture. At 44 years old, he had experienced several years of not being able to fully straighten his fingers and was having significant difficulty using his hand, as well as pain at the base of the small finger over a nodule.
Treatment (right): After a Xiaflex injection and manipulation to treat Dupuytren’s contracture, the patient is able to straighten his fingers and use his hand. Two weeks after treatment, he is cleared to return to all activities as tolerated.
