Alexandra Chapman, M.S.N., APRN, PMHNP-BC

Biography

Alexandra Chapman, M.S.N., APRN, PMHNP-BC, is an advanced practice registered nurse with a specialty certification in psychiatry/mental health. She is a provider at the outpatient psychiatric clinic at UT Southwestern. Ms. Chapman completed her Bachelors in Nursing at The University of Tulsa and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is the past president of the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of North Texas and is a founding member of the organization. Prior to her employment at UT Southwestern, Ms. Chapman worked as a nurse practitioner in a private psychiatric setting and treated a variety of mental health disorders in patients 12 and older. As a registered nurse she worked in two inpatient psychiatric facilities in the metroplex, working with children, adults and geriatric clients.
