Biography

Aleyamma Mathews, M.S.N., APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate degree from Bangalore University in India in 1999 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with an acute care nurse practitioner concentration from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2022.

She has worked at UT Southwestern for more than 15 years as a critical care registered nurse in diverse patient care settings, including the cardiovascular intensive care unit, Level V float pool team and rapid response team. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
