Biography

Amelework Wodajo, M.S.N, APRN, CCRN, AGACNP-BC, QIA, is a board certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) in the department of Neurological Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Wodajo completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles. She worked as an AGACNP in the Medicine/Cardiac Observation unit at UCLA Medical Center prior to moving to Texas. She also has Intensive Care Unit experience as an RN for almost 10 years and is passionate about evidence based outcome projects. She recently moved to Dallas from Los Angeles and is very excited to be part of Apheresis team at UT Southwestern. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, North Texas Nurse Practitioners, and American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and has been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau international Honor Society of Nursing. In 2017, she published in the Journal of Cancer Nursing.
