Biography

Anitha Litty, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CDE, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) in the Department of Internal Medicine's Division of Endocrinology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She focuses on diabetes management in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Ms. Litty earned her undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees at the Texas Woman's University, Denton, Texas. She has worked in endocrinology since 2012.

She is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the North Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

She has received numerous awards and recognition including best poster presentation award at the 2016 Student Creative Arts & Research Symposium, Texas Woman's University.
