Biography

Anna Simmers, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Simmers completed her undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2019 and earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2022. She began her career in breast surgical oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston before transitioning to gynecologic oncology at UT Southwestern. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
