Biography
Arthi Sridhar, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in the treatment of thoracic malignancies such as lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymic tumors.
Dr. Sridhar earned her medical degree at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bengaluru, India. She completed a residency in internal medicine at UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate, where she served as Associate Chief Resident. She gained advanced training through a hematology and medical oncology fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where she was selected as Chief Hematology and Oncology Fellow. She also completed an advanced solid tumor oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine, Dr. Sridhar joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.
Dr. Sridhar is a member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, where she is actively engaged in committees on volunteering.
She is involved in research related to immunotherapy, patient education, and improving healthcare outcomes, as well as studies related to lung cancer in younger patients. Dr. Sridhar has delivered presentations at national and international conferences and published multiple academic articles related to her areas of expertise.
Personal Note
When she’s not at work, Dr. Sridhar enjoys hiking, sampling different cuisines, and spending time with her family.
