Bunnany Pekar, Ph.D., CRNA, AGACNP-BC

Biography

Bunnany C. Pekar, PhD, CRNA, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Ms. Pekar earned her undergraduate degrees at The Ohio State University and The University of Cincinnati. She then earned her Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia and Doctorate of Philosophy at The University of Cincinnati. She also completed a post-Master’s certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) at the University of Cincinnati. 

She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
