Biography

Carey Le Mener, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in family medicine, and her clinical interests include preventive and lifestyle medicine, population health, and value-based care.

Dr. Le Mener earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program in San Antonio, where she served as Chief Resident.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Le Mener joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Prior to joining UT Southwestern, Dr. Le Mener practiced advanced primary care at Baylor Scott & White (BSW) in Dallas and served in administrative and leadership roles such as Medical Director for Comprehensive Care Management at Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance and Vice President of Primary Care for the BSW system. She also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Network and Physician Experience Officer at Southwestern Health Resources in Dallas.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Le Mener enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
