Biography

Clare Newman, M.P.A.S., PA-C, has been a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center since 2018.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed the Garry Weber APP Fellowship in Urology at UTSW, and currently serves as Assistant Program Director for the fellowship. She frequently guest lectures at the UTSW PA Program.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA), as well as the Urological Association of Physician Assistants (UAPA); the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU); and the American Urological Association (AUA). She has given urology lectures at TAPA and UAPA educational conferences.

Ms. Newman's interests include general urology (male and female), prostate and kidney cancer, and kidney stones.
