Biography

Daniel Segal, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in minimally invasive and robotic approaches to the treatment of prostate cancer, including focal therapies, kidney cancer, and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Dr. Segal earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He completed a residency in urology at Yale New Haven Health, where he was Chief Resident. He received advanced training through a fellowship in robotic surgery and minimally invasive urologic oncology at UT Southwestern.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Segal has delivered presentations and published academic articles related to his areas of expertise.
