Biography

Dora Abuogi, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Kidney and Liver Transplant Services at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Abuogi acquired a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2006, then earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2011. She acquired her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University in May 2020. She worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist /Medical Technologist at Childrens Medical Center at Dallas and Baylor Scott and White Hospital for over 9 years. She joined UT Southwestern as a Critical Care Nurse in 2016 and transitioned to her current role as a Nurse Practitioner with the Kidney and Liver Transplant Services in January 2021, after completing her graduate degree.
