Biography
Elizabeth Stock, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in gynecologic oncology.
Dr. Stock earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Chicago Medical Center and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
Dr. Stock is passionate about surgical and patient education and is currently serving on the Foundation for Women’s Cancer Patient Education Committee. She is also a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Her clinical interests include radical surgical procedures for gynecologic malignancies, including cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer, robotic and laparoscopic sentinel lymph node dissection, and advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She also specializes in medical management of gynecologic cancer through chemotherapy and targeted therapy, as well as hereditary cancer management and cancer prevention, including risk-reducing surgery.
She has published academic articles and delivered numerous oral presentations, poster presentations, and lectures related to her areas of expertise.
Personal Note
When she’s not working, Dr. Stock enjoys Peloton cycling, gardening, and traveling with her husband.
