Biography

Elysia Moschos, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in gynecologic ultrasound.

Dr. Moschos earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2001.

Dr. Moschos holds several leadership positions at UT Southwestern and Parkland Health, including serving as Administrative Director of Gynecologic Ultrasound at Parkland Health and as Physician Supervisor of the Hatcher Station WISH Family Planning Clinic.

She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Senior Member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She is also a member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society, where she has served on the Membership Committee for the past nine years.

Dr. Moschos has delivered many national and international presentations, contributed to the book Williams Gynecology, and published numerous academic articles related to her areas of expertise. She serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several scholarly journals, including American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Personal Note

Outside of work, Dr. Moschos enjoys doing weights and cardio, reading, and participating in community service. She serves as Vice President of Philanthropy for the Richardson Area Chapter of the National Charity League, a national mother-daughter service organization.
