Biography

Emily Imhoff, MSN, CRNA, CCRN is a board certified Nurse Anesthetist in the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Imhoff completed her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She began her nursing career in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit and then broadened her practice in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Anesthesia from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College where she trained within the Washington University Department of Anesthesiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists (TXANA) and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). In August 2020, Emily was selected to present her Graduate research project entitled, Airway Management in the Setting of Oropharyngeal Flooding with Blood or Vomit, at the AANA Annual Congress Poster Session.
