Biography

Enat Earnest, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C, CEN, is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Calicut, Government College of Nursing, India in 2002. Later she earned her MSN degree in Family Nurse Practitioner Studies from the University of Texas, Arlington (UTA) in 2017. She continued her education at UTA and obtained a postmaster's degree in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She is also a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and worked in the emergency department since 2007 as a critical care nurse and trauma nurse. Her ER experience gained competency to deal with complex situations quickly and efficiently to meet the various needs of multiply ill critical patients. She has a particular clinical interest in inpatient care. Being part of the Internal Medicine team was her dream career and is dedicated to helping patients to achieve their optimal state of health through a holistic approach from a global perspective. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the emergency nurses association.
