Biography

Faye N. Wright, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-C, is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner with a principal focus on the management of surgical oncology patients at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital. With over 12 years of nursing experience, Ms. Wright provides passionate quality care to oncology patients in the inpatient setting.

Ms. Wright graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2006, and following graduation gained invaluable experience working on an intermediate care unit. After seven years of critical care experience, she graduated summa cum laude from University of Cincinnati with her Master of Science in Nursing and was certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in 2014. In 2021, she completed a post-graduate Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program from The University of Texas at Arlington.

She has advanced evidence-based oncology care by successfully developing clinical pathways, including enhanced recovery after surgery, for the Simmons Cancer Center's Department of Surgical Oncology. She is a member of The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, The American Nurses Association, and International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association.
