Biography

Grace Alip, M.S.N., APRN, ACNP-BC, is an acute care nurse practitioner at UT Southwestern Medical Center Frisco, currently working in internal medicine and liver and digestive diseases. She was board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2011 and is licensed by the state of Texas.

She began her health care career in 2004 working as a cardiovascular registered nurse in Manila, Philippines. In 2006, she immigrated to the U.S.

She has nursing experience in medical/surgical, telemetry, cardiac, intensive care, and cardiovascular and thoracic critical care nursing. Her experience as an acute care nurse practitioner includes cardiology, surgical oncology, and cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.

Ms. Alip received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004, and then her Master of Science in Nursing from the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program in 2010 at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She also completed the Registered Nurse First Assist Program at the National Institute of First Assisting.

Ms. Alip acts a preceptor for nurse practitioner students and is an Affiliate Instructor for the Physician Assistant Program at UT Southwestern. Striving to provide the best care possible, she has a unique combination of strong nursing skills. She believes in building long lasting and trusting relationships with her patients and works to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking the time to listen and understand their particular needs. Her goal is to create a positive healing experience and instill confidence to those in need.
