Biography

Grace Bouvier, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Surgery working with the Nutrition Support Team and Enteral Access Service (EASy Team) at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Mrs. Bouvier completed her undergraduate degree from the Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 2015. Ms. Bouvier began her nursing career at UT Southwestern working with transplant recipients and advanced heart failure patients. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2021. She developed a passion for research and improving patient outcomes which she now applies to her position with the Nutrition Support Team. She works to better overall patient morbidity and mortality through recognizing and treating malnutrition in critically ill patients. Mrs. Bouvier uses a multidisciplinary approach to educate a variety of hospital staff about the importance of nutrition. She maintains her Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) and Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) certifications. She is a member of the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society.
