Biography

Dalton Williams, RD, LD, received his undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and completed a Master of Arts in Dietetics through the coordinated program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He worked as a dietitian in the long‑term care setting before joining the Weight Wellness team in 2022.

Dalton’s path to becoming a registered dietitian began with his undergraduate studies in sports nutrition and the Mediterranean diet. While studying abroad, he developed a deeper understanding of how nutrition influences all aspects of health and how dietary patterns can promote a long, healthy life.

With a strong passion for exercise and nutrition, Dalton began his professional career in the fitness industry. Through this experience, he learned that weight loss is a multifaceted process and that our relationship with food plays a critical role in overall health. He is a strong advocate for fostering a positive relationship with food while working toward meaningful and sustainable health goals.

Dalton joined the Weight Wellness Program to integrate nutrition and lifestyle counseling with evidence‑based medical therapies for obesity treatment. He believes that nutrition and lifestyle behaviors are essential co‑therapies alongside effective medical treatments, helping patients build sustainable habits, improve overall health, and achieve long‑term weight management success. Dalton is passionate about empowering patients to feel confident in their food choices while supporting their individualized treatment goals.
