Biography

Jennifer Renee Schlueter, MSN, APRN, ACNPC-AG, OCN, is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNPC-AG) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Mrs. Schlueter completed her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in 2010 and furthered her education graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2020. Renee is a licensed advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in the State of Texas with prescriptive authority and board certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNPC-AG) by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). She began her nursing career as an oncology nurse in 2011 at UT Southwestern St. Paul Hospital, becoming a nationally accredited Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) in 2013. She then transitioned to the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in 2015. She continued her nursing career at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital in the Special Pathogens/Medical ICU were she flourished as a bedside nurse and Assistant Nurse Manager caring for patients with a wide variety of acute critical illnesses. Renee is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nurses Society, American Nurses Association, Texas Nurses Association, and Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.
