Biography

Jenny Bohorquez, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric hospital medicine.

Dr. Bohorquez earned her medical degree at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine. She completed both a residency in pediatrics and a pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Bohorquez is fluent in Spanish, and her clinical interests include quality improvement and high-value care.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Bohorquez enjoys traveling, hiking, and hanging out with her husband, son, and mini goldendoodle.
