Biography

Jeremy Aymard, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in family medicine.

Dr. Aymard earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency in family medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he served as Chief Resident.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2026.

Dr. Aymard is passionate about building long-term relationships with his patients and their families. His practice encompasses the full spectrum of primary care, from well-child visits and adolescent health to adult medicine and geriatric care. He especially enjoys caring for multiple generations within the same family, allowing him to better understand and address the unique needs of each individual in the context of their family and community.

In 2023, Dr. Aymard was chosen by his medical school class for the Iatros Award, given to a graduate who most emulates the complete qualities of a physician.

In 2024, he was chosen by his co-residents at the John Peter Smith Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program for the Dr. JPS Award, given to a resident who most embodies the residency program’s ideals.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Aymard enjoys spending time with his wife, family, friends, and cats, watching new movies and television shows, discovering new restaurants and new music, being involved in his church, and playing pickleball.
