Biography
Jessica Kiarashi, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in treating migraine headaches and reducing health care disparities.
Dr. Kiarashi earned her medical degree at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed a residency in neurology and a fellowship in headache medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
Certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.
In addition, Dr. Kiarashi is an active member of the American Headache Society (AHS). In 2019, she was inducted into the AHS Emerging Leaders Program, and in 2020 she was appointed Chair of the Underserved Populations in the society’s Headache Medicine Section. She is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and a recipient of its Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Forum Award.
She has delivered several presentations and published numerous academic articles related to her areas of expertise.
