Biography

Jessica Pryor, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric hospital medicine.

Dr. Pryor earned her medical degree at UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric hospital medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Pryor is the Lead for Faculty Development in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UT Southwestern. In addition to her clinical interests, she is also dedicated to student and resident education.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Pryor enjoys traveling, watching sports (especially college football), trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
