John Carrio II, D.N.P., CRNA

Biography

John (“Stephen”) Carrio, II, DNP, CRNA, is a board-certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Carrio earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch and in 2016 earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Anesthesia at Baylor College of Medicine. He is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. 

Dr. Carrio is a member of several professional organizations, including the Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists (TxANA) and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. He was awarded the prestigious Lehmann Outstanding Student Award from Baylor College of Medicine upon completion of his doctoral program in 2016.
