Biography
Jorge Mosquera, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in diabetes, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and parathyroid conditions.
Dr. Mosquera earned his medical degree at the Universidad de Cuenca in Ecuador. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Central Florida and gained advanced training through a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
Dr. Mosquera has delivered poster presentations, published case reports, and contributed to the book Acute Strokes: Signs, Symptoms and Management.
Personal Note
When he’s not at work, Dr. Mosquera enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and going to concerts.
