Biography

Joe Lockridge, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in nephrology and transplant nephrology and serves as Medical Director of Kidney Transplantation for Parkland Health.

Dr. Lockridge earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston McGovern School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern, a fellowship in nephrology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a fellowship in transplant nephrology at Stanford Hospital and Clinics.

Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

Dr. Lockridge is a Fellow of the American Society of Transplantation. He has delivered numerous presentations, contributed to several books related to transplantation, and published peer-reviewed academic articles related to his areas of expertise.
