Biography
Joy Ramos, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP) working with UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Department of Neurology in the Sleep and Breathing Disorders Clinic.
She graduated from The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing with a Master Degree in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care.
Ms. Ramos' core interest is sleep-disordered breathing, including obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, complex sleep apnea, narcolepsy, hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorder, REM behavior disorder, insomnia, and parasomnias. She also has experience working in a cardiothoracic intensive care unit as a registered nurse.
