Biography

Justin Kim, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a certified physician assistant in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Born and raised in Texas, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and he earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He has served in a variety of orthopaedic roles, with experience in orthopaedic trauma, general orthopaedics, total joint replacement, and sports medicine. His clinical interests include injections, first assisting in the operating room, and providing perioperative care.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Associates of Orthopaedic Surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, traveling, watching sports, and staying active through hiking and weightlifting.
