Biography
Justina Johnson, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in hospital medicine.
Dr. Johnson earned her medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Ohio, where she also completed a master’s degree in biomedical sciences. She performed her residency in internal medicine at West Virginia University Hospital and received advanced training in global health through a fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
Dr. Johnson’s clinical interests include global health and medical student education. She’s a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health.
