Kari O'Brien, M.P.A.S., PA-C

Biography

Kari O'Brien is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Department of Surgery - Vascular Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Kari completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in College Station in 2011, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies with honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in August of 2013. Prior to joining the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at UT Southwestern in 2020, she worked in various surgical disciplines including general surgery, plastic reconstructive surgery, and bariatric surgery. Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
