Biography

Karla Calderon Estrada, M.S.N., APRN, AGACNP, is an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Texas at Arlington. Since 2017, she has worked in cardiology, first as a nurse and now as an advanced practice provider specializing in cardio-oncology. She is passionate about using evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction through personalized treatment and education.
