Biography

Kazi Imran Majeed, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in pediatric neurology, especially epilepsy and neurophysiology.

Dr. Majeed earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed a residency in child neurology at the Medical College of Georgia. He then gained advanced training in clinical neurophysiology and cerebrovascular disease through a fellowship at Southern Illinois University.

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology, child neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022. Dr. Majeed is a longtime resident of Dallas; prior to joining the Division of Child Neurology, he was in private practice for 17 years.

Dr. Majeed has served as a co-investigator on several clinical trials and has given lectures and written chapters pertaining to pediatric neurology.

In 2013, 2019, 2020, and 2021, D Magazine listed him as one of Dallas’ Best Doctors.

Personal Note

Outside of his clinical pursuits, Dr. Majeed is a sports enthusiast and an avid golfer.
