Biography

Kelsey Cardinal, M.S.N., APRN, WHNP-BC, is a women’s health nurse practitioner in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in well-woman visits, prenatal and gynecological problem visits, routine prenatal care, and contraception management for women, with an emphasis on long-acting reversible contraception.

Ms. Cardinal earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Auburn University and completed a Master of Science in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Board-certified in women’s health and inpatient obstetrics nursing, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024. She sees patients in UT Southwestern’s Las Colinas and Park Cities locations.

She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Ms. Cardinal enjoys attending Auburn athletic events, supporting the Auburn Alumni Association, mentoring and volunteering within her college sorority, cooking, and traveling.
