Biography

Krishna Parekh, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in the treatment of epilepsy.

Dr. Parekh earned her medical degree at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency in neurology at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, and then gained advanced training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology through a fellowship at UT Southwestern.

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Parekh joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, and the American Osteopathic Association.
