Biography

Kyle L. Martin, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-C, ENP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and emergency nurse practitioner in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital. He specializes in emergency medicine.  

He is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners.  

Mr. Martin received his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Texas Tech University and his Master of Science in Nursing from Western University of Health Sciences. He earned his post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency/Trauma Nurse Practitioner certificate from UT Health Science Center at the Cizik School of Nursing in Houston.  

Mr. Martin has been published twice in the Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal. His professional and academic interests include advanced practice providers in emergency departments, chemical dependency, and Spanish-speaking populations. He is fluent in written and spoken Spanish.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the American Assembly for Men in Nursing.
