Laura Pontes, M.P.A.S., PA-C

Biography

Laura Pontes, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in digestive diseases.  

Ms. Pontes earned her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, and then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Baylor College of Medicine in 2005. Since 2010, she has worked in gastroenterology with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease. She is a member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
