Biography

Lauren Franzblau, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in adult immunology, drug and environmental allergies, urticaria, and asthma.

Dr. Franzblau earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed an internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern, where she also received advanced training through an allergy and immunology fellowship.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Franzblau has contributed to numerous publications and delivered many presentations in her areas of expertise.

In 2022, she earned the Fellow’s Research Award from the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Franzblau enjoys doing yoga, cooking, spending time with her family, and traveling.
