Biography

Lauren Low, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant in the Pancreatic Cancer Prevention Clinic through the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Texas A&M University in 2008, graduating with high honors, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions in 2013.

Ms. Low spent more than five years at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington, where she treated patients with blood and gastrointestinal cancers, including pancreatic cancer. With a career-long focus on oncology, she is dedicated to applying her expertise to pancreatic cancer prevention. She finds it exciting and encouraging to work in a rapidly evolving field. Providing high-quality patient care and education is central to her approach.

Ms. Low is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the American Hepatopancreatobiliary Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
