Lauren Thomas, M.S.N., APRN, AGACNP-BC

Biography

Lauren Thomas, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. She works in the pre-surgical testing unit. Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Nursing in 2011 and 2013, respectively, from the University of Texas at Tyler. Then, she joined UT Southwestern Medical Center as a registered nurse in 2013, gaining experience in the post-anesthesia care unit and emergency department. In 2019, Ms. Thomas earned a Master of Science Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington with distinguished academic honors. She began her practice as an advanced practice provider in Dallas, Texas with a cardiology/electrophysiology group. Now, she has returned to UT Southwestern as an advanced practice provider to continue her professional growth with an organization that she has grown to value deeply.
