Biography

Michael A. Sharma, MPAS, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant (PA) in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He began practicing emergency medicine in 2013. PA Sharma first completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. He later earned a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in PA Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center through the U.S. military's Interservice PA Program in 2010. In addition to his clinical work, PA Sharma is also an adjunct professor of PA Studies at Mercy College of Ohio. He has lectured and taught hands-on workshops internationally and nationally on emergency medicine topics to a variety of clinicians. PA Sharma is also the co-host of "The 2 View: Emergency Medicine PAs & NPs" podcast with NP Martha Roberts.
