Biography

Nehal Masalawala, MSN, APRN, CNM, is a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas and Bachelor of Science in Nursing of the University of Texas Medical Branch where she worked with high risk OB patients. After receiving her nursing degree, she worked in critical care nursing and then as a labor and delivery nurse at hospitals in the area. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at George Washington University and a Post-master's Certificate in Midwifery from Shenandoah University. She worked as a CNM in private practice for 4 years before joining UT Southwestern. She is board certified by the American College Midwifery Board.
