Biography
Nikesh Bajaj, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He serves as Director of the Sports Neurology Program, specializing in concussion management, headache management, sports neurology, and traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Bajaj earned his medical degree at Rocky Vista University. He completed a residency in neurology at the University of Illinois Chicago and received advanced training in concussion management and sports neurology, as well as sideline injury assessment, through a fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
A member of the Sports Neurology Section of the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Bajaj is passionate about athlete safety, concussion management, and health policy.
Personal Note
In his free time, Dr. Bajaj enjoys traveling to national parks, camping, following Liverpool soccer, going to concerts, collecting vinyl, and playing guitar.
