Biography

Ogonna Azubike Nwangwu, M.S.N., APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner (NP) in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Mrs. Azubike Nwangwu works with Dr. Georges Bounajem.

Mrs. Azubike Nwangwu is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Nursing in 2000 and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2019 from the same school. She has over 20 years of perioperative nursing experience working at level 1 trauma hospitals and in orthopedic spine surgery and sports medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurses' Association. She completed a one-year fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery at UTSW.
