Biography
Rebecca Pedersen, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Pedersen earned her undergraduate degree in art history from Emory University in Atlanta. She went on to graduate from UT Southwestern Medical School and remained in Dallas for her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at UT Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Dr. Pedersen joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.
She provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages. Dr. Pedersen believes nutrition and movement are foundational to long-term health, and her commitment to overall wellness greatly informs her approach to patient care.
Dr. Pedersen is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Personal Note
When she’s not at work, Dr. Pedersen enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their two sweet dogs, Sophie and Murphy.
