Biography

Richard Kaye, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in routine obstetrics and gynecology care and has special interests in abnormal uterine bleeding and postmenopausal hormone replacement therapy.

After earning his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Kaye completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024, following 30 years of private practice in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Kaye is the former Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.

Personal Note

When he is not at work, Dr. Kaye enjoys boating, fishing, bike riding, and spending time with his wife and three sons.
